Coniston Water

The most beautiful day here in paradise Cumbria.  Warm and sunny and lovely.

I had a meeting in Ulverston at lunchtime followed by lunch at Gillam's and then decided to drive up towards Coniston.  It was heaving.  Lots of people enjoying the wonderful weather.  It was difficult to find somewhere suitable to stop.  Lots of boats out and people paddling and swimming.

No 2 son is coming to stay for a few days this evening for a very surprise visit.  Delighted.
