Looking through the gate

Our little calves are still in the sheds, keeping them nice, warm and dry.  Here they also learn how to suck off the milk bars.  I took this photo of a wee Jersey calf, looking through the wire of the gate.

It's been busy on the farm today, with 10 new calves born.  It started to rain about 3pm, with more heavier rain forecast for tomorrow.  At least we know that our calves will be nice and dry in the shed.
