BUSY BEE

Visited Meijer Gardens (in Grand Rapids, MI) again today.  A perfect day weather-wise to be outdoors - not too hot, sunshine & fluffy clouds, slight breeze.  (Notice the beautiful sky in Extras.)  With all their gorgeous flowers, I chose to blip this honeybee actually on a weed.  (It was by a lakeside where the grounds are natural along walking paths.)  The weed's blossom reminds me of a sweet pea, but I don't know its name.

The Extra has Meijer Gardens' signature feature, a massive horse sculpture that stands over two stories tall - with my husband standing under it.  (Unfortunately the sculpture was undergoing some upkeep, so maintenance vehicles interfered with the view.)
