Flower Power

I'm exhausted, but had such an amazing day at the AHSGR convention in Portland! (American Historical Society of Germans from Russia). It was held at Concordia University at the Center For Volga German Studies and was such a great gathering of genealogists and historians.

I attended two talks which were both amazingly informative...about how to self publish a book, and about using DNA results to further genealogy studies.

I saw so many old friends I had not connected with for some time...always a delight:)) The flower shot today symbolized my feeling tonight....sunny and happy:))
