How to catch a falling star
Perseid Meteor Shower. Yep it has been happening since yesterday. I dedicated around 20minutes of my life tonight to photograph the shower. I chose Victoria Park as my spot since I know it is the least light polluted area in Leamington. It turned out, it was totally dark at night. Which was perfect for star gazing. As soon as i chose my spot and started unpacking my photography gears, I was lucky enough to see one meteor shoot up in the sky as i looked up. Boy was i elated! In my amazement, I audibly said "Whoaaa!!!" And i was the only one in the very dark park. I was hoping i could get another meteor but the English weather did not cooperate and as soon as i got my focus and settings ready for some awesome night sky photography, the clouds started to spoil the fun. I have this lousy photo in front of you now. This wasnt even the spot where i saw the meteor because it was all immediately covered up in clouds after i saw that one meteor.
