Meeting Place

This was really my kind of day (NOT) and I was dreading its arrival.

About 6.00 am leave home
About 8.30 am arrive (before everyone else) at a large Perthshire hotel.
9.00 am introductory stage of meeting took about 5 minutes after which myself and 7 others had to leave the room and wait to be called back in.
Lunch time came and went with no one being called back then the trickle started at about 2.30pm.
I was called a little after six and my involvement extended to ten or may be fifteen minutes. It was all very formal and quite intimidating.
I was home before 9.00 pm.

It was a very long day but I did nothing between 9.00 am  and 6.00 pm 

An earlier finish would have allowed a resumption with site work in the morning but as it is I now have a few desk chores to get through in the morning.
