Murchison's Big Saturday

Our netballers get one home game a season. Every other weekend of the season they all drive up to Nelson to play the Nelson teams. This year we struggled to get ONE team to come down for a home game - " it's too far for us to travel" was the gripe. Really? Too far? Funny that, our kids do it week in week out!!!!
Anyways .... it was the big home game today and it coincided with some of the rugby home games too. As the normal photographer wasn't available I was asked to go and take the netball team photos- at 9.30 AM on a saturday. Martyr to the cause and a big softie at heart I duly traipsed over to the Rec Centre and took the photos and then stayed on to watch the games.

Like TeeJay I did do the whole cool fog shot and the icicles which I will put on flickr later but my blip today had to be the Murch kids and Murch itself in all it's glory, winter style
