Hopefull

This young Robin was spotted in the shop!! How it got there I have no idea, I carried it outside and put it on the top of a high wall where it immediately demanded food, I obliged with some softened bread crumbs. This went on all morning, I was hoping it's parents would hear it as it was making quite a racket. It was hopping about and flew into some trees but returned to the wall and let me stroke it, adopted mum I think by the afternoon the chirping had stopped so fingers crossed a parent found it rather than a cat.
A lovely evening with friends, walking the land in the sunshine and meeting the ponies and donkeys.
