Crewel Embroidery

Here is a wonderful example of crewel embroidery. My teacher, Jean, created this piece back in the 70's. We were over at her house tonight learning some more stitches for the piece we are working on. I had to work on bullion knots which I must admit I do not like to do in the least bit. This makes mastering them all the more challenging.
