One Wednesday in August

Torrential rain last night and a damp squib of a morning but that sunshine found a way to break through. .. This afternoon I walked across the farm to the cliff tops yet again.. If I walk this route I know I will definitely manage 5 or six miles and today I pushed it to over 6. .
I walked back across the farm and these little poppies are still growing along the edges of the harvested field. .. A lovely combination of summer colours. .
