Content!

As P and I both spent the last few days in London, Chester Dog had a holiday too ...in the kennels....

He doesn't mind too much, but comes home tired and appreciative of his own territory.

He spent the day snoozing in the garden whilst I pottered around trying to tame some out of control plants and shrubs.

This evening is earmarked for a nice long bath and a bottle of vino with my husband! We really fancy a beer or two but as we will be watching Bake Off , beer seems wrong! Mary would not approve! We pondered on sherry but that's not an acceptable compromise - sorry Mary! Wine is chilling …
