Back blip

Not a great day. Didn't sleep well and from 'bumming' down the stairs in the morning to 'bumming' up at night was an effort. Good things though were a friend sending me a very funny Irish video clip on YouTube (will try to find it and add it here) and Philippa visiting tonight bearing these home grown tomatoes. 'Right, what can I do?', she asked when she arrived. I sent her over to our local Frankfurt bar to buy some home made hot food. Twelve days of salads were taking their toll. 20 mins later we had: patatas bravas, habas (like a bean stew), chicken croquettas, and empanadas (small tuna pastries) and a green salad. It was all delicious and the leftovers did me for lunch the next day. She's coming back on Wednesday and we're going to get a pizza in :-)
