Trampled Oats

The rain from last night trampled parts of this oat field. I don't think it's enough to matter, though.

I spent part of the afternoon preparing cucumbers to become sweet lime pickles. It starts with soaking them in lime water for 24 hours. Tomorrow they will soak in clean water for 3 hours and then overnight in the pickling solution. It's a bit time consuming but worth the effort.
