Beach day!

I realised that all summer we haven't yet been to the beach! This had to be remedied! So off to the Gullane beach we went. We had a couple of hours before the rain started, then it was a mad dash up the hill to the car and luckily the ice cream van had just arrived. A quick change in the loos and the rain had eased enough for an ice cream :-)

Back home in time to take the boys to gymnastics, make shepherds pie (a new recipe from the leith veg bible) and then collect the boys. Shepherds pie was deemed v yummy, and C even had seconds!

Went to JogScotland - legs felt a bit like lead but was a good 6k run up and down hills.
