Treading the cobbles

I guess this is what the Edinburgh festivals are all about, the random street art, dance and theatre you encounter on your way about the city. This little troupe were enacting some sort of Japanese tale using masks and dance. The props they were using, swords, fans and scarves really emphasised their movements. I stopped for a short while on my way home and took in a bit of the performance.
