Started!

We got 52 children at the first day of the Holiday Club today - a record number! It all went very well and the kids seemed to really enjoy it. I can never get over how attentive and well behaved they are. We had a lot of rain overnight and first thing this morning, but it cleared up in time for games on the field. The kids were told not to sit on the grass though as it was very damp! I helped run the music (as usual) and also helped out groups where necessary - e.g. there were 14 six year olds and they needed an extra adult to accompany them to the field.

We get the afternoon off, so I had a good rest!
