Silk Weaving

The Kingdom is getting ready for Queen Sirikit's birthday on August 12. This prosperous day has also become Mother's Day in Thailand. 
The Queen has been very active to promote Thai silk like Jim Thomson before. Hard to believe this is in a metro station (MRT / Thailand Cultural Center). They opened a whole section underground to make a display of silk weaving in honor to the Queen. This lady is spinning the silk thread next to a loom, where another lady shows how to weave Thai fabrics.
