A sad day.

A local confirmed dead and two still missing after their boat capsized yesterday afternoon just along the coast a bit. They'd been out fishing for mackerel - fun, not commercial. They're from East Wemyss, which is 2 villages east of Dysart.

That aside, the harbour was lively today. A seal came in following one of the boats, and was rewarded with a snack. I was in the cafe at the time, and my camera was in the car. *sigh*

It had gone by the time I'd finished my treacle scone & coffee and fetched the camera. *sigh*

The two touroids sitting at the table next to me saw it diving and decided it would be going to eat the seaweed on the bottom. Touroids are often good for a wee chuckle.

A few families around the harbour just passing the time or fishing off the pier. Nice to see a group made up of small boy, dad and grandad. Clearly it was all dad's idea and the others were just there for company.

A bunch of teenagers - the 3 boys jumping in the water to impress the girls. Another chuckle. That North Sea water will sort out their hormones for a while.

The lads got Blipped as a tribute to their strength of character.
