Beach attractions

The pandemonium continues on our usually quiet beach. There were SOOOO many people there today and so much dust blowing, it was quite annoying. We did stay for a bit though as we needed to get out and just chill .... Left the beach just in time before a huge thunderstorm came in!

The day started with church, good to be back after a two week break. A few people back from the holidays. I still find summer as an expat such an oddity.

The mass exodus that occurs with people returning to their 'home' countries only to realise that it's not really home anymore and that the place they live in is home. And then they/we return and share stories of being with family and eating 'home' foods and yet, we don't belong there anymore. And we do this every summer and some at Christmas too! Strange ..... yet we need it too. And then there are some of us who know where 'home' REALLY is and wait for that great day :). Any thoughts???
