Early morning visitors

I heard one of the cows bawling this morning and I went out on the porch to see if anything was wrong. The cows were fine, but I saw two little heads bobbing up and down over by the pond. I went inside for my camera and when I could zoom in, I saw it was two turkeys. Mr M thinks there were babies with them, but the grass was too high for me to see if that was the case.

Today was blustery with lots of dark clouds, a strong rainstorm is predicted for this evening.  Mr M and I attended the funeral of his great-uncle this morning, a lovely man who was only two weeks away from his 90th birthday and had never spent a day in a hospital.
