The tomato arranging group has been going through a rather lean time as there have been very few ripe tomatoes due to the lack of sun up here in the N.E. of Scotland.
However, our latest challenge was to display 24 small tomatoes on a piece of wood and here is my entry.
There is no way I could make them into Chess pieces!!!
I've always rather liked this track  from that musical.
P.S. A rather enjoyable variation of draughts is "First Off The Board" . The rules are the same but the object is to lose your pieces as quickly as possible.
P.P.S. The yellow ones are of a variety called Sungold and they are delicious
