Gatekeeper

Each year we have a small colony of Gatekeeper butterflies that congregate around the marjoram flowers.  I counted seven which probably means there are a few more.  A group of three that are newly emerged and then four that had been out and about for a short while.  Oh and when I looked at my photos  I also found one Meadow Brown (not such a good image though).  I spent quite a lot of time trying to get a reasonable all in focus image - not easy with my camera set-up and the fact that they are always on the move and are so small.  This one hasn't quite got the head in focus.  Oh and I also did a bit more gardening - so gradually I'm bringing back some order.
