Celebration cake

I made this chocolate cake for myself on the occasion of 20 years being in Scotland, as I was meeting a few friends for a drink in the evening.

I spent most of my day making cakes: this one and then working on the massive 14" rainbow cake I have on order. By the time I met my friends in the evening, I was exhausted, but it didn't prevent me from having a great time :)

This is a back blip as I've been really busy recently...
