30

Yes, thirty years Mr C has had the pleasure of being married to me!! ;-)) he got a card and some mother of pearl cuff links.....I got no card but possibly a new ring in the offering...I will keep you posted.

We were up early to get on the road before rush hour/holiday traffic/Stonehenge (those who know the A303 will fully understand!!)/roadworks for our journey to Cornwall (mum had guests over the weekend so we couldn't go earlier). We planned to visit a national trust place en route, and arrived at Stourhead in Wiltshire around 10ish. Time for a cup of tea and look around the shop before visiting the house (which opened at 11). The rain was lashing down which made the house a good shelter as well as extremely interesting. By the time we left the house, the rain had eased off. So we walked around some of their wonderful grounds. We grabbed a sandwich and another tea before hitting the road again. Arriving at mums about 5pm.

Cornish blue sky.......is the extra I took as soon as I arrived at mums in case I don't see it again this week!!... View from her garden overlooking the village. (I should say mum & dad....just being lazy!!!).
