Lending Library

My mum lent me the books I had sent to her for her birthday. I really need some inspiration as I am really struggling with reading at the moment.
I gave up on A Week in December it felt like lots of short stories (which I don't like much) that flitted from one to another too quickly so I didn't buy in to any of the characters.
I then started reading singled out which is interesting but it is not fiction. It is true accounts of how women were left single after world war one. I will probably go back to it but at the moment I feel like I want to get lost in fabulous fiction.
