Bramble flower with ????

It might be some kind of hover fly. But it looked a bit too big and dark. I am too lazy to do the research!
A pleasant warm morning and afternoon , but heavy heavy rain, thunder and lightning late afternoon. We couldn't see the bottom of the hill far less the Ben. It is still raining heavily but the thunder has stopped.
