Still Life with Grapes and Plums

On the way home from the  gym today (yes it's hot and yes I went to the gym) I stopped off at Karstadt and bought a piece of black velvet for my still life experiments. First thing I learned is that you can see every speck of dust on it and it takes forever in PS to clean it up. Secondly, I'm not too sure I like the way everything seems to be floating in black. Next time around I'll make the table top visible somehow.

The glasses and pan are all from the flea market.
