On the MV Hebridean Isles , en route to Islay for surgeries there and on Jura this weekend.

I am posting this blip of Cathleen's choice for her tea ( I had chicken) as a wee tribute to Martha Payne and her blog and to Cllr Roddy McCuish , the leader of Argyll & Bute Council who showed real leadership today in making sense and freedom of speech prevail in the midst of what the media seem now to be calling "plategate" .

Plus of course as a tribute to all those hard working people who cook and serve food to many different publics - in schools , hospitals , canteens and on ferries as well as in lots of other places including the best of restaurants run by inspirational chefs like Nick Nairn and Andrew Fairlie who have been backing Martha and her blog.
