Strangled

Koh Ker is a remote Angkorian site, which was totally worth the journey. Devoid of the hordes of tourists blocking views with their outstretched iPad cameras, it is an evocative, overgrown sacred site. Lots of the temples and buildings looked like this - completely succumbing to strangler figs and other vegetation. It had a lovely eerie feel and was highly memorable.
