Damn Breezy!

We have enjoyed our unexpected extra day here in the south of Cornwall.

The day has been quite warm and mainly bright but with a very strong breeze!

These flags are above the open air swimming pool on the promenade in Penzance. The wind was really doing them justice as you can see. If you look closely the diver is actually wearing a crown with ER. These are called the Jubilee baths so quite appropriate for the recent celebrations ( and yes there were people swimming in them!)

We had gone in to Penzance to check out the parking for the ferry and to see if there was any news about the sailing tomorrow. We were told the sailing is scheduled for 11.00am - later than usual - so we will have time for breakfast (well maybe not!)

As we ate dinner back at The Ship we saw the Scillonian returning from St Mary's so we do at least know she is back in one piece.

Lit up last night Moushole celebrates the Queens Jubilee Not quite Blackpool illuminations but very tasteful.
