CHRONICLES OF WASTED TIME

It is quite an art, isn't it, doing really useless things, or perhaps doing nothing at all. Three of us spend about an hour trying to solve the Beautiful Bug puzzle today, watched by the Professor, who was practising doing nothing at all.

THREE GOOD THINGS
*Solving the puzzle was not essential to our survival
*Although Great Malvern looks singularly uninviting in the rain, the Christian Tea Shop serves wonderful, cheap toasted tea cakes served by volunteers who don't seem to mind when you don't ask them about Jesus.
*No-body minded too much when the navigator (me) got us throroughly lost coming home.
