keep your distance

A dry afternoon after a damp start to the day. Decided to have a lazy Sunday morning but I don’t seem to do ‘lazy’ very well so it may be a long time until I have another.  I did read a few magazines I’ve had for months then got maps and guidebooks out to plan some walking routes. 

Just a roadside wander later but with lots of wild flowers to admire. Strangely I liked this prickly combination of the barbed wire and thistles. Perhaps it matched my mood :)  I prefer this mono version to the original colour one that came out of the camera.
