Start at Reed's Gap

We started at Reed's Gap in the rain and Fog.  It was so beautiful walking thru the woods with the mist in the trees.  There were meadows of flowers with drippy drops hanging on them (my photos do not do them justice)  The kids were talking about how it felt like we were walking into a fantasy world.   

We walked a couple of miles and camped at the Maupin Shelter.  Ate hot dogs and smores over the fire.  And the weather cleared up so we had a dry night.
