A Sign @MugStock

Took Spun Gold Girl to MugStock, a new 'boutique' music festival which is local to us.
It started on Friday night and ends tonight.
We're well acquainted with Mugdock Country Park, but it took on a whole new 70s-style personality this weekend.
Three stages, a pop-up theatre, family activities, food stalls and tents selling all manner of hippy garb - the smell of incense is still worming its way around my nasal passages.
We both really enjoyed it. The bands weren't mega-names - tho I recognised some from XpoNorth.
It was fun just to relax and take in live music from some cracking musicians.
Wearing my PR hat, it could have had a bit more profile locally and nationally, but it was put together with much care and attention by a team who clearly care about promoting live music and emerging artists.
Looking forward to next year already...
