Early morning in the meadow....

Just after I got up to the moth trap at 5.45 this morning it got really foggy! 
So...I jumped out of bed and sped off to my favourite meadow on the downs hoping to get some shots of the fog.
Well, it was foggy on the way down there, very foggy, but when I arrived hardly any fog at all! Bother!
I went into the field anyway, and I was so glad I did because it was full of butterflies all sitting on the grasses warming up in the sun - so beautiful.
This is a Common blue Polyommatus icarus, warming up, and I have chosen this shot because if you look very closely you can see the dew drops on the edges of the wings...happy days!
