Tricolour Pansy..

..I think..

Chores done before the Archers Omnibus, tea made, and breakfast cooking..

The day is dull, and there are frequent misty, mizzley spells of wet blowing through. Hard enough to obscure the village, but not amounting to a significant amount. It's not cold, but there is a good breeze. Later see that the North and East coasts have temperatures rising to the mid 20's. We managed 15!

Spent some time in A's shed, and built a workbench for him. I've been threatening to do this for a while, and finally got round to it..

Then spent the rest of the afternoon in the polytunnel. Weeding. Planting lettuce plugs. Tidying up the strawbs, removing all the old leages, fruit stems, and runners, and potting up strawberry runners. Tying up, and side-shooting the toms.

Now enjoying the first, and late evening sun. This pansy is growing on the croft, round by the bench. I'm not quite sure what species it is, but it is a lovely blue variant, probably of viola tricolor, Tricolour Pansy, or even v. lutea, the Mountain Pansy.
