Chocolate Hazelnut Meringue Cake....

With extra hot chocolate ganache...

We had my family over for afternoon tea today as my brother ( Lomond Lad: https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2076739791700888247 ) and sister in law were visiting my niece and her boyfriend. We also invited Dad's friends who looked after Islay while we were on holiday.

My niece brought her puppy ( Poppy)- both puppies spent most of the day chasing each other ....thankfully the weather was good so we were able to sit in the garden.

This is the cake that O made for A- it's his birthday tomorrow so we had cake today to celebrate. Delicious it was too.
