Edible Jewels

Round at my sister's tidying up the garden when I discovered the redcurrant bushes, which had been overtaken by a fuchsia were dripping with fruit that the birds hadn't found. So I sat in the sun and picked them and them stripped them from their stems. A nice reward.
I think nature must have a love of colour because not only did she bless these fruits with the glorious explosion of ruby red but she also added lime green stalks to set off the red. A masterpiece.,, and scrummy too.
