Helter-skelter

By Juli

Que sera, sera.

My new series of sewing lessons started this morning and it was lovely seeing the other ladies again, they're such a wonderful group. My daughter's very excited, too, as she's starting the children's lessons tomorrow. Talents often skip a generation so I'm hoping she's inherited my mother's amazing sewing skills and not my less-than-amazing ones!

In the afternoon I toodled off to take my exam (have I mentioned that I had an exam?!?). :-DDD

Seriously, it was fine - nowhere near as bad as my fellow students and I feared, I'm sure. I have no idea how I did (all depends on whether I gave the right answers, I suppose!) but managed some last minute revision beforehand as I sat next to this waterfall in the venue lobby. I did my absolute best so I'm at least happy with that and what will be, will be.

I'm sorry to have gone on about it so much, it's just that until this final exam and my project (which will be finished in September) I always had a bit of a buffer if everything went wrong but this is the end of the line so to speak - no more second-chances, the buck stops here, as they say!

The support I have had from all of you on here and my friends and family has meant the world to me so thank you all very much from the bottom of my heart.
