Ochrwyth Tree

It's been a really dull and overcast day although it has stayed dry. Late this afternoon, as a result I thought I'd do a long exposure photo and drove a few minutes from home to the top of Ochrwyth Mountain that separates Machen from Risca.

I took a standard exposure to determine the length of time I would need to use the Lee Big Stopper Neutral Density filter on the next exposure. No sooner had I done this the sun burst through the clouds to throw the calculation out!

I went ahead and took a 4 second long exposure using the cameras lowest ISO of 200 and aperture of F16. It's given the tree and clouds some movement. I did take a few others but like this one best.
