Beachcombing

A quiet day today after yesterday's exertions. Foostered about at home, had started out with one of those unfair hangovers, as I'd only had two small beers and a smidgen of wine. But that cleared, helped by a bracing beach walk and then back to watch the All Ireland hurling semi-final on TV between Kilkenny and Waterford. Hurling for those of you who don't know it is a fantastic game. It's 30 guys with sticks chasing a tiny ball for 70 minutes. Maybe if you can imagine it as a game of cricket on a time-lapse video, where everyone moves about ten times faster than normal. A screen shot is in the extras.
