Flowers on the Breakfast Table

Jan had collected flowers and grasses for the wedding. They came from our garden and from the countryside around.  For the actual wedding they were in “vases” that Jan had constructed but at breakfast the next day the flowers were moved over into glasses so we could take the vases home.
We were a little surprised that of all the people at the wedding we were the only ones staying overnight at the venue.
We had stayed at Stornäset before and it is cheap and cheerful in the best way. Svante and Anette make people very welcome and we chatted to Svante as we ate breakfast.
Those flowers added their colour to our breakfast table. After writing all this I found Jan had also blipped the breakfast flowers! (Even as I write this, 36 hours later, the same flowers are on our table at home.)
