The Road to Morocco day 3

The bandage came off, two tiny wounds with sticthes in, now covered in waterproof plasters so I can shower, and a little swollen still.

But: tomorrows planned rehab stage done today, so still one day ahead :)

I walked up to the castle, a walk twice as long as yesterdays, and it includes a rather steep section of road. I also managed to get up and down the flight of steps at the castle!

Bumped into Sion James and his family and this is his daughter, scrambling on the ramparts of the castle!

On the way, I popped into Black Mountain Bears and bought a little woolly handmade bear to cheer myself up: rehab bear. He has been photographed free climbing the walls of Longtown Castle and is my 'extra' for today.

Onwards and upwards, must think of a suitable challenge for tomorrow :)
