Sunflowers

We went down to Les Mielles this afternoon for a leisurely stroll. We saw lots of butterflies including Painted Ladies, loads of bees and a poorly rabbit who nearly bumped into me.

I'd noticed a small field of sunflowers nearby, so whilst Rik and TheAphid were enjoying the ripe blackberries I walked back to photograph them. I haven't been very successful in the past but I'm pleased with this shot with the bumblebee. Others on Flickr if you're interested, including a close up of a wasp on a telephone pole!
I've added a hovering White butterfly as an extra. It's not a particularly good shot but I've haven't caught one in mid air before.
