pulled vines

The evening before, I was yanking Morning Glories. I planted them once, now every spring pull hundred of shoots. Still, some survive, and I usually let them, because after all, I do really like Morning Glories. These were strangling and pulling down my Zinnias, so I really had to pull them, or else what would my Hummingbird do?
Too lazy to walk the pulled vines over to the woods for disposal, I left them in the middle of the patio.
In the morning, I found that they bloomed anyway.
