Camera? or parts

The camera saga continues. I cleaned the lenses. When I closed the lens cover a shower of dust coated the lenses again:(. Re cleaned everything. Put the lens together and realised the lens cover was open. It should have been closed so I now have to start again . I fear it will never work again even if I manage to put it together. The man in the video makes it look easy - ha.
