A perfect Saturday

After all the excitement of last week's wedding weekend, today was just lovely. A lie-in, cooked breakfast and Saturday Kitchen, an Ashes win for England, a couple of chapters of my book on the library roof garden (in the sunshine!), a walk to the market to buy armfuls of bargain fruit and veg, the start of the new football season topped with a Villa win, catching up with Mum after hols (just a shame about poorly Dad) and a chilled evening on the sofa watching Match of the Day!
