Don't do it Wayne

Popped out this afternoon, in the driving rain, to post a letter. I turned round and saw this inflatable standing atop the pub entrance. The pub also being decked out in hundreds of tiny St. George flags, I think England might be playing tonight.

I thought this fella bore a passing resemblence to Mr Rooney. I know you're not allowed to play Wayne but throwing yourself off a pub roof in Stafford isn't the answer. Looking carefully though he is tethered so we can all breath easy.

Thinking I was getting wet taking this, I got home to find that the Ukraine France game had been suspended due to a real downpour and storm.
