A Brown Mantis

It´s been a long day, up at 6.30 out at 7.15 for golf, 2 hour drive to the course 4 1/2 hour round, a meal then a 2 hour drive back home, but I enjoyed the day.

I spotted this little guy yesterday on my big lavender bush, I thought it was a leaf, then I realised it was a brown praying mantis, becuase I knew that Roy was going to trim the lavender bush for me today I moved him (the mantis, not Roy) onto the smaller bush and he was still there tonight when I got home.

Intersestingly he is not as photogenic as the green mantis.
