A NICE DAY
Relief from the heat in thew form of puffy white clouds and a cool breeze. We drove up to the foot hills to a huge outdoor antique fair. The dogs and I walked around in the fields, and I took some shots, like this one, while grandma looked at the junk.
Then we went on to the next little town, and found that a cafe that we used to go to, had reopenned. Nice Mexican lady, who makes wonderful veggie meals from scratch. The way her mama did.
Then on up into the mountains, for a long hike through the woods and along a beautiful blueish green creek. It always amazes me that an hour East we can be in the mountainous wilderness, and two hours West we can be in the ocean. We are so lucky.
Extras Uphill from the sale and one of the Little North Fork of the Santiam River.
